We want to transform domestic abuse services from the very moment of reporting.

Led by Northumbria Police, this project brings together forces from Cleveland, Durham, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Humberside. Together, we are developing a comprehensive Violence Against Women and Girls strategy, which includes A Whole System Approach to tackling domestic abuse.

Six police forces across the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside have come together along with their local partners to provide better protection to victims and their families and to bring more perpetrators to justice.

A Whole System Approach is the model that will shape the way we tackle domestic abuse in our region for years to come.
